Imagine & Create

About Rokacola

My name is Rossana Meyer, I'm a graphic design graduate and I am a self-taught sculptor and jewelry maker. I started making Jewelry in Maracaibo-Venezuela in 2008, mainly for myself, but after having so many requests, I decided to create what we now call Rokacola. At the beginning the material used for our creations was "masa flexible" - It was the only material I had access to in my hometown; It was very sticky, messy and hard to work with, creating the need to find something better. After a lot of re-search I was able to get my hands on the amazing polymer clay, were I was capable of adding more details, colors, designs, quality and give a delicate finish to all pieces; Expanding all options and opening the doors to imagine and create. In 2010 I relocated to Quincy, IL where my Husband and I are working on spreading the word about Rokacola products. We keep on searching for the best materials, supplies, findings, tools and ways to create the best quality products for our customers.

This is my office/studio/work station and my space to create - My own, My precious -

Messy and Beautiful - My computer desk, work station, photo studio all in one.

Who does What?

Rossana Meyer (Myself): I’m the Artist. I sculpt and craft all the items, do the graphics needed for online media / prints, and of course wrap every item that is shipped in lovely gift bags or boxes.

Matt Meyer (My Husband): He pretty much takes care of everything else. Bills, shipments, marketing, website tech support and the oven when I occasionally forget it is on.

Our Products

All our Products are handmade, finely crafted / sculpted out of polymer clay and baked with love in our home’s oven.

Some of our items are also wet sanded and polished.
Every item is shipped in a beautiful gift bag or box - inside a bubble mailer. We provide tracking information for all US shipments.

Polymer Clay Brands: Premo, Sculpey and Fimo are my favorite, but from time to time I’ll use Kato. I believe Kato is a great brand just a little hard on my hands. Tools often used: Pasta Machine, carving tools, roller, clay knife, textures, pliers, cutters. Common Materials:  Polymer clay, Findings, gold leaf, cotton cord, liquid polymer clay, pigments.
